Note Input

Press A, S, D, F, G, H, J, K, L, W, E, T, Y, U, O, P, ; to play notes from roughly C4 through E5 and automatically add them to the staff.

Selecting Note Durations

Number keys Shortcuts 1-7 (1=Whole, 2=Half, 3=Quarter, 4=Eighth, 5=16th, 6=32nd, 7=64th).

Rests

Press R or click "Rests: ON/OFF" to toggle rest mode.

Chords

Press C or click "Chord: ON/OFF" to toggle chord mode, then click multiple piano keys and press Add Chord.

Moving Notes

Click and drag any note vertically to raise/lower its pitch.

Note Editing

Right-click on a note or empty measure area to access the context menu for editing, duplicating, or deleting.

Basic Operations

Clear Removes all notes

Undo Revert changes

Redo Re-apply changes

Save Exports a JSON file

Import Reloads from JSON file

Print Prints the staff
